HELP IS URGENTLY NEEDED

Banner Forest Heritage Park Bike Trails

Banner Forest Heritage Park's mountain bike trails are a unique gem in Kitsap County, offering over 20 miles of tightly packed, twisty singletrack within a compact 636-acre space—making it one of the most densely trailed forests in the Pacific Northwest.

What makes them awesome as they are is the immersive, shaded canopy of Douglas firs that creates a cool, loamy understory with natural technical features like roots and rolling terrain, perfect for riders of all skill levels seeking an authentic forest adventure without the feel of groomed paths.

Removing trees would disrupt this unique ecosystem, exposing trails to sun that could dry out soil, promote invasive overgrowth blocking paths, and erode the shaded, wildlife-rich immersion that draws bikers here—potentially turning a natural haven into a degraded, less rideable space.
